Our local public library has a wonderful collection of DVDs and every now and then we find a gem. In the last batch it is a movie directed by Paddy Considine, "Tyrannosaur".
This is not for the faint of heart nor for those looking for fantasy-land stories. This will break down any illusions one may have about the difficulty of Life and Anger. Look closely and you will see the many levels and decisions made every day. How our actions or lack of, effect others.
It would seem easy to dismiss this, that we are not so cruel, that every one can choose not to be angry. But it isn't. There are many personal hells that we keep hidden from ourselves and others because we want so much to be happy and seen as happy and well adjusted. And we will do every thing to maintain this illusion. And continue to suffer. We are even willing to assist in maintaining lies for others, because it is easier then getting involved.
I still haven't recovered from the jolt.
